Employment Access

Employment Access is a program run by The Coalition for Persons with Disabilities in Peel, Halton and Dufferin. The program works to promote the full and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities in today’s labour market. We are committed to providing client centered services, which assist persons with disabilities in creating individualized solutions to employment barriers.

The program has a high rate of success; persons with disabilities who access our services are able to achieve high levels of success in obtaining their employment goals. In a recent survey 90% of respondents stated they would recommend our services to other persons with disabilities.

The Coalition is committed to promoting the rights of persons with disabilities. It is a community based partnership of persons with disabilities, groups, agencies, employers, educators, labor, government representatives and others interested in working collaboratively to effect positive changes for persons with disabilities. The Coalition encourages equal and equitable access to all aspects of life including employment, education, recreation, housing, health and public services for persons with disabilities.
