COST :
A full syringe (1.0 cc) of Restylane or Perlane
is $520. Generally, most patients require one syringe
for lips or wrinkles. There is a $50 discount for any
further syringes required at the same session.

What is Restylane?
Restylane is the trade name of Hyaluronic Acid, a substance
that plays an important role giving volume to the skin,
shape to the eyes and elasticity to the joints. Hyaluronic
acid is found naturally in your skin and other tissues.
Common Uses for Perlane & Restylane
Correcting folds and wrinkles of the face, acne scars,
nasolabial folds (between the nose, mouth and cheeks),
horizontal lines (upper forehead), depressed corners
of the mouth ( "marionette lines") and lip
enhancement.
One treatment session takes approximately 30-45 minutes.
The needles used for Perlane & Restylane are very
fine. To make treatments easier occasionally the doctor
may use a topical or local anesthetic to decrease the
sensation felt during the treatment.
The results can be seen immediately and no scars or
other marks are left on the face. Redness may last 1-2
days following the treatment, occasionally longer in
some patients. Swelling in the lips can last for up
to one week.
Perlane & Restylane can be used to smooth wrinkles
and folds and give
lips a fuller look. More frequently used areas, such
as lips tend to require a touch-up treatment after about
4 months. Areas that are less frequently used may only
require additional treatments after 8 months to maintain
the effects. Usually additional treatments require smaller
amounts of PerlaneT & RestylaneT then used during
your first treatment.
The natural substance used in Perlane & Restylane
is produced by fermentation, so there is no risk of
transmitting diseases between species or eliciting allergic
reactions in patients who are sensitive to common foods
such as beef, chicken and eggs. Unlike Collagen, no
skin testing is needed before Perlane & Restylane
treatments.
